About

My name is Olivia.
Clarinet player, photographer, matcha lover.
Born in New York and raised in Florida, I currently live in Arizona with my boyfriend, Dan, and our puppy, Cooper. I do a lot of different things, but my main shtick is currently a doctorate.

I shoot with my Nikon D5100 and usually a 35mm f1.8 lens. Occasionally I also use my kit lens, or my 50mm f1.8 lens, and often my iPhone. I have prints available for purchase here!

I started this blog in 2012 for no reason and now it's a way for me to keep in touch with my family and friends, and to catalog and peruse my photos and memories at my leisure. A lot of things have changed since this blog began, but I'm still here rambling.

The title "Oh, My Heart" comes from a Canadian band called Mother Mother, in reference to one of their albums entitled "O My Heart" (which is, by the way, amazing).

If you want to figure me out a bit and you haven't yet visited this page, start here.

All photos are mine unless otherwise stated. Question about something? Email me: omoonitz92@gmail.com. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh my gosh, you're too cute! I just got back from a Jewish wedding and possibly had too much fun cheering "Mazel tov!" and attempting to dance in the giant circles. I expected the glass to sound different when it was crushed by the groom's foot, and my husband laughed and me and said that's all in the movies. You have such a vibrant, happy space!
