Reed Quintet

Have I ever mentioned that I'm in a reed quintet? It's a really interesting and unique group because typically people form wind quintets instead (horn, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon). But a reed quintet includes only the instruments that use reeds (bassoon, saxophone, clarinet, oboe, bass clarinet). Seems obvious, but who knows. Anyway, it's really fun to play in this group. And our name is punny and ridiculous and it rocks.

We have a recital coming up, and here is a sneak peek of the photos we took yesterday. These are the two I chose for our posters, as you can see. Special thanks for John for being awesome and actually taking the photos for us! (I just edited them)

More to come some time soon. Our outtakes were hilarious.

P.S. Happy Halloween! We're "celebrating" tomorrow night, so hopefully I'll have some photos of that to share this coming weekend. Enjoy and be safe, all.
